Plumber Daily Launches an Executive Council
A working group of plumbing owners comparing notes on flat-rate pricing, the shrinking labor pool, and where AI earns its keep after hours.

Plumber Daily is opening applications for an executive council: a working group of plumbing company owners built to compare real notes on the pressures specific to this trade, a labor pool that isn't producing enough new plumbers to replace the ones retiring, flat-rate pricing decisions that can make or break margin on a given job, and AI phone and dispatch tools that range from genuinely useful to overhyped.
Every owner deciding how to price a price book, or whether an AI answering system is worth trusting with a 2 a.m. emergency call, is largely solving this alone through trial and error. A council of owners comparing real, specific experience should reach better answers faster than any one shop working it out independently.

This is a launch, not a filled roster. Nobody is a member today. Applications open now, reviewed by our editorial team, with direct follow-up to the owners we invite in. Members may be asked for a quote, a short interview, or a write-up in future coverage, credited to them and their business.
The bar to apply is real: a minimum of $1 million in annual revenue, since this is built for operators running an established plumbing business. Beyond that, what matters most is a willingness to talk plainly about what's actually working on the truck and in the office. Apply through the council page if that's you.
Most shops lose more booked work at the phone than they realize. See your monthly number.
